DART passes to expire Aug. 31
DART riders who haven't renewed their cards by the end of August will have missed the bus.
DART is standardizing the appearance of their transit passes, said transportation manager Nancy Branch. The new cards will be valid for the calendar year.

Seminar targets student stress
Hoping to have a calm semester Don't hold your breath.
UTD's Art of Living (AOL) student organization will host a six-day, 26-hour Youth Empowerment Seminar (YES) taught by Rohit and Shilpa Sadharwal Sept. 2-7 in the Activity Center.
Rohit said students can significantly improve attention, retention and recall skills with the breathing techniques taught in the course.
The techniques are based on Pranayamas, ancient breathing techniques sometimes taught in yoga classes, Rohit said.
Rohit, a practicing periodontist, said a patient suggested the course after seeing the surgeon lose his temper.
The course is both fun and practical, incorporating leadership training and ways to overcome fear of public speaking, said business graduate student Aravind Kallahally, who organized classes at UT Arlington before attending UTD.
The seminar at UTD is an unusual opportunity because Rohit and Shilpa travel across the world teaching this course, said computer science master's student Karishma Bagpatia. She said she's not certain when UTD's Art of Living student organization will be able to bring this curriculum to campus again. Seminar fee is $200 per student.
