BRIEF: Mr. UTD pageant training upcoming

UTD men have until Feb. 22 to sign up for Alpha Gamma Delta’s Mr. UTD pageant, where they can show off talents and style for a good cause.

The pageant is an annual fundraiser the Alpha Gamma Delta foundation, which benefits women’s health and diabetes research.

Weekly practice sessions begin Feb. 9 in the Galaxy Rooms. During practice, contestants and escorts will learn a skit and prepare for the talent, costume and questionnaire rounds.

About 10-15 UTD undergraduate students are signed up for the contest, and each will be provided with tickets to sell.

Faculty members will serve as judges. The winner is chosen based on the judges’ decision and the amount of tickets sold.
