Dreamyourtopia, an interactive art project that debuted at Burning Man in 2008, appeared at Centraltrak Jan. 10. The exhibit consisted of an immigration facility, and several exhibition rooms.
Participants in Dreamyourtopia brought passport-sized photos and a completed immigration form from Dadara's site, www.dadara.nl.
"Border guards" interrogated visitors about their dreams and processed passports before permitting entry to enter the main gallery.
Dadara is taking Dreamyourtopia to Europe after the appearance at Centraltrak, but more art from Burning Man, an annual event and temporary community constructed in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, can be found at burningman.com.
